However, there are some basic health & beauty tips that work for all skin types. Here are some of those tips:

 

  • Keep your skin clean: To have beautiful skin, it is important to keep the skin clean. Wash your face at least 3-4 times a day. Our skin faces lots of pollution and dust on a regular basis. All the impurities can sit deep on our pores if we do not wash our faces regularly. It is not necessary to use soap or facewash every time. Wash your face with water only and it will remove the dirt from it. Also, avoid touching your face every now and then. Knowingly and unknowingly we touch many surfaces and things that contain germs. If you are touching your face with the same hands without washing them then it is a big mistake. It can cause infections and skin issues. 

 

  • Protect your skin from the sun: UV rays are harmful to our skin. So, it is important to protect our skin from it. People with any skin type should use a good-quality sunscreen every day. Make sure your sunscreen contains a good amount of SPF. It will not just prevent tanning but it will protect you from harmful skin conditions and diseases like skin cancer, sunburn, etc. Apply it on your face, hands, legs, and every part that will be exposed to the sun. 

 

  • Have a nutritious diet: Good eating habits help you to get the perfect skin. One must avoid junk food or fast food to minimize the chances of skin problems. The more nutritious food you will eat the more healthy your skin will look. Include more proteins, vitamins, and carbohydrates into your diet. A good diet definitely reflects on the skin. Do not eat oily and extremely spicy food on a daily basis. It affects your health that causes acne and other skin issues. Homemade food is the best for your gut and skin. 

 

  • Stay hydrated: Try to drink as much water as you can. It does not just keep you hydrated but also gives you glowing skin by removing toxins from your body. Other fluids like fruit juice, coconut water, and soups are also good to keep yourself hydrated. 8 glasses of water is the minimum amount of water you should drink. Just by drinking enough water, you can solve several skin issues like breakouts, acne, dullness, and dryness.

 

  • Do Yoga and exercise: Your skin glows differently when your overall body is fit and healthy. To ensure this, you can start doing Yoga and some other light exercises. It will keep your digestive system healthy and clean your body from inside. Breathing exercises are so helpful to balance the hormones. If you are facing any skin problems caused by hormonal imbalance or disturbed digestive system then yoga and exercise is the solution.  

 

  • Enough sleep is important: If you are a night owl then be ready for dark circles and dull skin. A disciplined sleep cycle is important to have a healthy body and skin. 7 to 8 hours’ sleep is good for young people. Your beauty sleep helps the tissues to repair and recover. Start having enough sleep and you will see your dark circles are recovering. Your skin will start looking younger and fresh.

 

  • Use only good-quality makeup: If you are a makeup lover then make sure you are using good-quality makeup products. Check the ingredients of your makeup before using it. Use paraben-free and sulfur-free products. Keep checking the expiry dates of your makeup. Discard expired products as soon as possible to avoid skin problems. Using cheap quality or expiry makeup can ruin the quality of your skin very badly. 

 

  • Treat your skin well: Never neglect your skin whether you are in your 20s or 40s. Follow a good skincare routine to take care of it. Do it at least once a week. Use a good face wash to cleanse your skin. Exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin and impurities from it. Apply any face pack that suits you. Use a toner like rosewater or any other to tone your skin and to add a glow in it. Do not forget moisturizer to moisturize your skin.
